Aldi is gearing up to dominate the festive dinner table with its "most impressive and extensive" range of pigs in blankets to date.
The budget supermarket, which scooped the Quality Food Awards Christmas Retailer of the Year title, will be rolling out additional products from December 19, with prices starting at just £1.99.
The star of the show this year is the Specially Selected Double-Wrapped Pigs in Blankets, "designed to be the main event on any Christmas plate".
Each sausage features a pork filling wrapped several times with a full rasher of oak-smoked dry-cure bacon, priced at £2.49 for 250g.
